The Mere Wedding Singer
In May I had the joy of spending the whole day at Joe and Rachael’s wedding at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa. I have attended a wedding before at The Mere before but this is the first time I was there on business! I have to say that the whole experience was brilliant, Jo and her staff were fantastic and so attentive. I was instantly made to feel welcome, a brilliant start!
I met up with Joe and Rachael early in the year and they were fab. You could tell that they were very much in love and I knew straight away that their wedding would be great. They booked me to sing during the drinks reception and The Midnight Cats for the evening. The weather was fantastic and I was lucky enough to set up outside for the drinks reception.
The wedding was also a little bit special as Rachael’s mum had secretly got in touch with me and asked me to sing a special song as a surprise for Rachael during the speeches. It was a beautiful song called ‘I Loved Her First’ and the lyrics said it all. I have to say I was a little nervous as I knew how much it meant to Helen. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, I was honoured to be apart of such a special moment!
The evening was just awesome, The Midnight Cats set up and we were ready for a night of singing and dancing, the wedding party did not disappoint!
Here are a few words from Rachael and Joe…
“Absolutely Amazing! Made our wedding the best it possibly could be from Kirsty singing during our wedding reception and The Midnight Cats in the evening, it added a brilliant atmosphere, you had everyone up on the dance floor all night! Such lovely people, amazing service and always happy to answer any questions! Would highly recommend to everybody! The Midnight Cats are the best! Amazing talent and Kirsty what a absolute beautiful voice you have, Me & Joe will remember our wedding and how amazing you all made it for us! Everyone is still talking about how good you and The Midnight Cats were! Thank you all so much!! Rachael & Joe xxx”
Another great wedding to add to my list, happy days!
