Deanwater Hotel Wedding Singer
It has been a while since I last blogged and as it is the beginning of the New Year I have decided to start as I mean to go on, blog, blog, blog! So I start my blogging escapade with Carly & Mike’s Wedding at The Deanwater Hotel on the 28th August 2015.
I have actually known Carly a very long time, our mums grew up together and are still very good friends! When Carly asked me to be a part of her wedding I was very pleased and instantly said yes. They booked me to sing during the wedding ceremony and The Midnight Cats for the evening reception.
Carly & Mike are a brilliant couple and apart from their different taste in Manchester football teams they are a perfect match. We met up prior to the big day to discuss songs, they wanted me to sing as Carly entered the ceremony, during the signing of the register and as they left as man & wife. The songs they decided on were Make You Feel My Love – Adele, All of Me – John Legend and Thinking Out Loud – Ed Sheeran. The last song I had to keep a secret as it was a special song that Carly wanted me to sing from her to Mike, it was Finally Found – Honeyz. I am glad to say that I didn’t let anything slip! The ceremony was beautiful and I managed to keep my cool as Carly walked down the aisle looking absolutely stunning alongside her Dad, John.
Later in the evening The Midnight Cats were set up & ready to go. I had previously said to the guys that we were in for a good night as the White Family like to have a dance and a party, I was not wrong. The dance floor was full all night and it was an awesome wedding.
“Yesterday was our wedding 28/08/15 at The DeanWater Hotel it was an amazing day – one of the highlights of our day was hearing Kirsty singing as I walked down the aisle it was amazing she was absolutely fantastic and made our day perfect. You really made a difference to our day thank you so much xxxx” Carly & Mike
“We have seen Kirsty sing several times, as a solo singer, at our nieces wedding and leading the Midnight Cats. She has an amazing voice and range, from the emotion of singing solo during a wedding service to getting the party going with classic dance numbers. Her versatility is fantastic, you certainly won’t be disappointed.” Graham and Hilary (Carly’s Uncle & Aunty)
Here is a video of me singing Finally Found as Carly walked down the aisle.
